CONDITION GRADES

The Smoking Archive carefully assesses each piece that is available for sale and labels it with a Condition Grade.  The Condition Grade helps inform the pre-loved status of each piece.  The following are the descriptions for each grade:

PERFECT
Pieces that have never been worn or show no signs of wear

EXCELLENT
Pieces that show light signs of wear due to age but wonderful condition

VERY GOOD
Pieces that show normal signs of wear due to age but doesn’t distract from the overall beauty

GOOD
Pieces that show more apparent signs of wear but still wearable.  May need light tailoring or additional dry cleaning services

FAIR
It’s an iconic piece but needs complete tailoring or may be saved for your archive
